What Can Internet Marketers Learn From Woolworths and MFI?

When it first started it was known for cheap kitchens. However, over the years it tried to get a bit more upmarket. The quality of its items improved and then it expanded into other furniture. When it went into receivership, it sold bedroom furniture and bathrooms too. The problem was, it didn't have either the range, or the quality to distinguish itself from all the other specialists. Unfortunately, MFI also went under and many people were saddened by its loss. I was thinking about that today and the lesson the demise of such British institutions relates to many who attempt financial freedom with internet marketing. One of the things every successful marketer will tell you, is you need to outsource certain tasks and focus on those things you enjoy and are good at. Just think of all the things an internet marketer needs to do and all the hats he or she has to wear. There's so much to learn and you simply cannot be an expert in everything. You could buy anything there and it wasn't too expensive. It sold a bit of everything, and that has been its downfall. It didn't sell enough of anything particular to be known as a specialist.
